These terms apply to all transactions and interactions with Al Rahim Motors, located at Aukaf Car Market, Rahim Yar Khan.
2. Vehicle Information and Condition
“As Is, Where Is” Policy: All used vehicles are sold on an “As Is, Where Is” basis unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. This means the vehicle is sold in its current condition, with all faults and imperfections (if any).
Inspection: We strongly encourage all customers to inspect the vehicle thoroughly before purchase. You are welcome to bring a mechanic or a third-party inspection service to verify the engine, suspension, body paint, and overall condition.
Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate details regarding mileage, model year, and specifications, Al Rahim Motors is not liable for unintentional errors in vehicle descriptions.
3. Pricing and Payments
Currency: All prices are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Pay Orders, and Online Bank Transfers.
Taxes: All applicable government taxes, including Withholding Tax (WHT) and Transfer Fees, are the responsibility of the buyer unless agreed otherwise.
Deposit/Token: A “Token Money” (deposit) paid to reserve a vehicle is generally non-refundable if the buyer decides to back out of the deal without a valid reason.
4. Documentation and Transfer of Ownership
Verification: It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the vehicle’s documents (File, Smart Card/Book) via the Excise and Taxation Department. We guarantee that the documents provided by us are genuine to the best of our knowledge.
Biometric Transfer: In accordance with the laws of Pakistan (specifically Punjab Excise), the seller will provide the necessary Biometric verification. The buyer is responsible for completing the ownership transfer within the stipulated time frame.
Open Letter: We generally advise against driving vehicles on “Open Letters.” Al Rahim Motors is not responsible for legal issues arising from delayed transfers by the buyer.
5. Test Drives
Test drives are permitted at the discretion of the management.
You must hold a valid driver’s license to test drive a vehicle.
Any damage caused to the vehicle during a test drive due to negligence is the liability of the potential buyer.
6. Returns and Refunds
Once a vehicle has been sold, payment has been made, and the delivery note has been signed, the sale is considered final.
Returns or exchanges are generally not accepted unless a specific agreement was made in writing by the CEO, Mr. Asif Ali, prior to the sale.
7. Limitation of Liability
Al Rahim Motors shall not be liable for any mechanical issues, breakdowns, or damages that occur after the vehicle has left our premises. The responsibility for maintenance and repairs lies solely with the new owner upon delivery.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from business transactions will be settled within the jurisdiction of the courts in Rahim Yar Khan.
